3D Animator

In 3D, the work is done only on the computer to give the impression of relief and volume. The 3D animator does not draw since the characters he animates are already modeled in computer-generated images. He works from a “skeleton” dressed in texture (skin, clothing, for example) that he will make move, speak, etc. It also defines the shadows and lights to amplify the illusion of reality. The animator moves each point of articulation of a moving character one after the other on the computer by integrating the mathematical coordinates of the start and finish positions according to the desired trajectory and movement (translation, rotation, etc.). It is long, meticulous, and rigorous work. The 3D animator works with a graphic designer, modeler, rigger, character effects and design, publisher, matte painting, surfacing, layout, and lighting. animator
